Nicole Scherzinger will take the stage in Andrew Lloyd Webber's celebrated musical, "Cats," later this year.
Cast to play "Glamour Cat" Grizabella, the former Pussycat Dolls singer and personality will join the production when it returns to London's Palladium for a twelve week run beginning December 6.
"I am really thrilled to be making my West End debut in such an iconic show and I couldn’t be more excited. To have the opportunity to work with Andrew, Trevor and Gillian is a dream come true," Scherzinger offered in a statement. "I grew up listening to Andrew’s extraordinary music and was lucky enough, a couple of years ago, to record Cats’ beautiful song 'Memory.' Andrew’s score is breathtaking and I am truly honored to have been asked to take part in what I know will be a very special time in my career. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals."
Scherzinger is also set to release a new album this month. Titled "Big Fat Lie" the album is said to feature production from The Dream and Tricky Stewart.
