Nicki Minaj’s Myx Fusions sparkling Moscato brand may soon be the Sean ‘Diddy’ Comb’s Ciroc of the Vodka range. The Young Money rapper became part owner of the company last year and has been doing the most to create awareness around the brand as well as providing input on new flavors and its packaging.
“I’m passionate about MYX and am always thinking of new ways to integrate it into my projects in an organic way,” states Minaj. “I told everyone that MYX was going to revolutionize the wine industry and we are on our way.”
Mona Scott-Young, co-owner and chief marketing officer for the brand adds: “Nicki is a savvy businessperson and she has been an instrumental factor in the brand’s tremendous growth. Her business acumen is helping to turn the signature cobalt blue MYX Fusions bottle into gold.”
With distribution up from nine to 42 states, sales have grown over 500% with the company becoming one of the fastest growing “ready to drink” beverages on the US market. Housed in 6oz electric blue crown-capped bottles, the range comprises three flavors: Original Moscato, Coconut & Moscato, and Peach & Moscato.
