Jason Derulo is rising on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 with another hit.
"Trumpets," the latest offering from his album, "Talk Dirty," has reached the top forty following successes like the album's title track and "Wiggle."
"After charting for two months in the Hot 100's lower reaches as an album cut beginning in June, "Trumpets" is living up to its name, making a triumphant entrance in the top 40 in its 17th week (48-33). Having been released as a radio single in mid-August, the song, which follows Derulo's No. 3-peaking "Talk Dirty" and No. 5 hit "Wiggle," vaults by 33 percent in airplay to 17 million in audience, according to Nielsen BDS. The radio activity helps spur a 25 percent gain to 59,000 downloads sold," reports Billboard.
"Trumpets" is the fifth single to be released from "Talk Dirty," which also features "The Other Side" and "Marry Me."
