Jessica Sanchez teams with DJ Komori for the hypnotic single, “Vacation.”
On the pop/disco-inspired track, the 19-year-old American Idol season 11 runner-up sets a flowery ambiance with her electrifying and powerful voice as she coos about enjoying life.
“Vacation” was released only in Japan.
In a recent interview with Rappler, Jessica says she’s working on new music, and during this phase of her career, she is also writing songs, so fans will have to wait for her next album.
“I've been super busy working on new music and I am so excited for everyone to hear it,” she says. “For the first time, I've been collaborating with different producers and I've been writing which is very exciting as I did not have the chance to do that on the last album. The process of songwriting and being creative and starting music from scratch can be a lengthy process. I know my fans are waiting but this will take some time. I've grown up a lot since the last album and American Idol so I want to take my time with this and not rush anything. I've also been doing various TV performances and appearances so I am very busy!”
