Missy Elliott has game changing music just waiting to be released. According to Timbaland, who spoke with Rolling Stone this week, the "Pass That Dutch" and "Get Ur Freak On" star already has a first single and it's just a matter of setting a date.
"It's coming. It's on her. She got the first single, it's just a matter of when she wants to do it. We got the hollow-tip bullet in the gun. We have the game-changer right there," Timbaland told Rolling Stone. "It's something you ain't never heard Missy do. It sounds today, but the future."
Missy Elliott's last album, The Cookbook, was released in 2005. Since then Elliott has been relatively quiet, producing for other artists, collaborating with some including Little Mix, Fantasia and Faith Evans. There was also talk of a biopic.
Monica recently teased music from her new album, confirming that she has reunited with Missy as well.
