After dropping his Coke, Jack & Cadillacs trilogy EP last year, Ro James re-appears with what he calls a “ruff” version of new music (a demo maybe) called “Lights On It,” another wavy groove he adds to his repertoire. Ro’s music and image oozes “soulful rock star” and he keeps that motif throughout this cut, balancing the electric guitar and ominous bass into something wavy.
“I admire what u do when your f*ckin you,” he sings about a woman with loads of confidence.
