R8, Rihanna's eighth studio album is coming.
The award-winning star with hits including "S.O.S.," "Umbrella," "Hard," "S&M," "We Found Love," "Diamonds" and "Stay" took to Twitter to confirm the upcoming album over the weekend.
Sharing a picture from the studio, Rihanna captioned it #R8.
As previously reported, Rihanna has been tapped for a concept album revolving around "Home," a forthcoming big screen feature. It's unclear what direction she will take with #R8, but it will be her first studio album release (shockingly) in almost two years.
Rihanna's last album, "Unapologetic," was released November 19, 2012 and spawned hits including "Diamonds," "Stay," "Pour It Up," "What Now" and "Love Song (ft. Future)."
