Harlem soul singer Oshy (a name from his Cherokee heritage meaning “The Beginning of the Best”) turns up on his latest song “Whatz Up” ft. Ron Browz, a song ffrom the soundtrack to an avid clubber's night on the town. Born Thomas Byrd, Oshy has spent most of his career behind the scenes writing and producing vocal arrangements for R&B/ Hip Hop producer Ron Browz, but judging form this, he’s poised to step out on the solo tip.
“Whatz Up” is a departure from his usual slow jams, but to get an idea of his range as a singer-songwriter, check out his soulful groove "I Keep Going From Ex To Ex," on which he claims he would be faithful if only he could find one woman who possesses all the different qualities of his exes.
“If only I could find all of these qualities inside a woman / Then I would be the faithfulest, loving committed man she needs / But till then I’ll keep going from ex to ex,” he sings on the climactic bridge.
