Early last month, The-Dream (Terius Nash) turned himself in to NYC police over allegations that he punched, kicked, and strangled the mother of his latest child, Lydia Nam, when she was pregnant. The incident allegedly happened at the Plaza Hotel in April 2013, but Nam filed the police report in November 2013, because “she feared for her life.”
Facing felony charges of assault, strangulation, harassment and reckless endangerment, The-Dream is adamant that Nam is lying about the incident and that she’s after his money.
“Well of course they are man, I’m such a lovely person,” Dream told TMZ cameras about the allegations being untrue.
He adds: “You get this much money, you know somebody is always gonna want it.”
Readying his fight, The-Dream is confident that he will be cleared, insisting, “It will.”
