Nas Brings Out Lauryn Hill, Others at Coachella Fest

It was a great weekend for hip-hop!

Exactly 20 years ago on Saturday (April 19), Nas dropped his debut LP Illmatic, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary, the rap icon took to the Coachella Outdoor Theatre stage to slay the crowd with a slew of his hits. Another highlight of Nas’ set was an appearance from Lauryn Hill. To support her brother-in-music, Hill assisted him on their hits “Ready or Not” and “If I Ruled The World (Imagine That).” Damien Marley also came out to support Nasir, performing “Welcome to Jamrock” and “Road to Zion.”
