Sylvia Rhone returns to a presidential position at a record label — this time she has been appointed by L.A. Reid to helm Epic Records. To assume her new position, Rhone will transition from a business partnership with Epic, who distributed her imprint Vested in Culture, to the principal of Epic.
Epic’s artists cover an array of music genres from Pop, Hip Hop, Rock and R&B.
After stepping down as the president of Universal Motown in 2011, Rhone founded and operated her own record label Vested in Culture since 2012. With her new label, she has quickly built a solid roster of artists including Quadron, Kat Dahlia, and Casey Veggies.
Since 2005, Singersroom has been the voice of R&B around the world. Connect with us via social media below.
