America was abuzz in chit chat over Perri “Pebbles” Reid’s interview on “The Wendy Williams Show” when she made shocking claims, including those that Tionne “T-Box” Watkins and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes were the ones who wanted Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas out the group. Pebbles also alleged that Chilli had an affair with her then-husband and record exec L.A. Reid. The social media world blew up with comments on the interview, including the ladies of TLC.
Both members, T-Boz and Chilli, tweeted “Yall need 2 watch what church y'all walk into cuz I'll tell ya some of these so-called MINISTERS might get struck by lightning at any moment,” in reference to Pebble’s new role as a Christian minister.
The group then sent an official statement to the Wendy Williams show in response to the scandalous allegations.
“No member of TLC ever slept with or had sexual contact with LA Reid as Perri falsely accused Chilli of on ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ In fact, Perri had falsely alleged the same thing happened with Tionne,” the statement reads. T-Boz then adds, “I would like to confirm that Perri Reid was the only person who ever suggested that Chilli leave TLC. Neither Lisa nor I ever wanted or suggested that.”
As stated on "Wendy," Perri claims she's planning to write a book as well as take potential legal action against VH1.
