Emerging R&B crooner TJ Boyce taps West Coast rapper Problem for his latest single “Party,” a mid-tempo body rocker, produced by Phil Moore. The track will appear on the Houston, Texas singer-songwriter’s forthcoming debut EP, The Life, slated for release on January 28, 2014.
“I was suppose to release this EP a while ago but I’m glad I waited so I can produce a project that represents the real me,” explains TJ Boyce. “What people don’t realize is I use to do Hip-Hop before I started just doing RNB. I’ve always been a rapper who could sing and people liked when I would sing full on songs and that’s is how I got into RNB. But I don’t feel complete as an artist and representing the real me unless I combine the two. On this EP I’m doing just that instead of my original plan of doing a straight RNB record. If I would of done that I would have put myself in a box musically”.
Previously released bangers “No Panties,” “It’s On,” and “Burn Down The Bedroom” will also appear on the upcoming project.
