Singer-songwriter-actress Shvona Lavette finds herself in a predicament faced by most people who have a hard time ending things with a lover.
"Should we let go or keep holding on," she hums on her new single “Holding On,” a mellow and soulful ballad from her forthcoming debut album, ‘It Was Fun While You Lasted’. Like the opus’ title edicts, the project will be focused around a broken relationship and the aftermath.
‘It Was Fun While You Lasted’ follows two previously released EPs and is slated to arrive January 2014. Lavette is signed to the same management company as Snoop Dogg and Macy Gray.
