Lady Gaga and R. Kelly have a hit on their hands in the form of "Do What U Want."
The promo track turned official single has not only debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, it has actually arrived within the top 15 — a major feat for both artists.
"Lady Gaga's slinky synthesizer jam "Do What U Want" wasn't supposed to be an official single from the singer's forthcoming "ARTPOP" album, but due to the wildly positive reaction to the track, the R. Kelly guest spot will be impacting Top 40 radio," reports Billboard. "The newly christened single debuts at No. 13 on this week's Hot 100 chart, offering a mid-tempo change-up from the dance-pop of Gaga's latest Top 10 single, "Applause."
"Do What U Want" is featured on Lady Gaga's forthcoming album, "ARTPOP," which is due for release on November 11.
