We’ve all been there: that feeling of heartache and desolation. Jade de LaFleur offers “Blue Notes and Green Trees,” a bluesy, gloomy song to purge your sorrows.

“Why call it love when it’s war? / Give you my all, climb to my fall / Sometimes all I got is blue notes and green trees, it’s so dark and lonely / Never had no real love,” she confesses before a jazzy, muted trumpet solo.

Along with her upcoming EP “Jaded”, Jade de LaFleur will also be featured on Solange’s upcoming compilation album, “Saint Heron.”
