If it wasn't said before, we're saying it now, Lincoln Heights actor/singer Mishon is all grown up. This maturity is evident in his new record "Older Girl," a nostalgic 90s-inspired ballad, which sees the crooner declaring, "I could be your daddy."
"Older Girl" is a classic-feeling soul record and a great look for Mishon, who has been searching for his sound for the past few years. His vocal performance is solid, melodies are sweet, the lyrics are heartfelt, and his conviction and passion for the art are front and center.
Mishon is currently working with So So Def chief Jermaine Dupri, who will executive produce his Columbia debut album.
"I'm really excited about this project because all I hear is people talking about the want for good R&B and his vocals and key knowledge are so up, that I can give him songs that most can't do," stated Dupri.
