The Kickback" is a live music & culinary series currently held in NYC at the famed Sterling Sound Studios, inside of The Chelsea Market (75 9th Ave. NY, NY 10011). ‘Kickback,’ a term of west coast origin, is usually a get together, bond fire or cookout. At "The Kickback" we embody that laid back, cozy, friendly energy, in a venue flaunting exposed brick and wooden floors, and views directly overlooking the Hudson.
We have a full kitchen where local culinary artists cater food on the spot to pair with an alcoholic beverage of your choice. This aspect of the event gives a livingroom-esque feeling of comfort and security.
As the delicious smells fill the air, artists, fans, and industry insiders mingle throughout the night to a soundtrack given by some of the tri-state area's best DJs.
Just when everyone is realizing how awesome the atmosphere is and thinking it couldn't get any better, the featured artists hit the stage to give an up-close, intimate performance. For many in the crowd it's a showcase for someone they've never seen, and for others they are witnessing their favorite artist (Bridget Kelly, Eric Bellinger, Aaron Camper, Melo X, Sonyae Elise, Justine Skye +more) kill it.
