Soul veterans Syleena Johnson and Musiq Soulchild get sensual on the reggae-vibed track, "Feel The Fire," the first single from their forthcoming collaborative album, 9INE.
"The music was so good, and [Musiq and I] both love Kemar's production so we're just like, 'Why don't we just do [an album] together?'" Syleena told Billboard about how the two joined forces, which started during a recording session with reggae producer Kemar McGregor for his compilation album.
She adds: "We're having fun and putting something together for the fans to love. [The album] is about love, happiness and peace."
The album entitled '9INE' was created in nine days; it will consist of duets along with three songs by Syleena and Musiq, and is scheduled to be released on Sept 10.
