As the soulful twang of this cut flows into the verse, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to Al Green’s secular days. But you’ll be surprised to know that Houston, Texas’ Jack Freeman is still in his early 20s, but his music tells another story, that of an old soul.
Says Freeman, “[‘Nobody’] is a beautiful blend of emotions that reside on the opposite ends of the spectrum. It takes you on a rollercoaster that essentially is love. The pain, the frustration, the nostalgia and the overall feeling of love so good that you can’t help but acknowledge it after it’s gone for even a split second.”
