Kay Tunes’ tears are not for joy, on “Cried,” she recounts a saga of a man that has a slick tongue similar to Stevie J and is playing tricks with her emotions. She pauses throughout the record when her heart breakdowns reciting, “Do you remember when you looked me in my eyes and lied/that’s when I broke down and cried.”
Kay Tunes follows the release of her “Love Don’t Live Here” single with “Cried,” a continuation of a distress love tale that unfolds on her forthcoming EP ‘The Story of an Emotion.’
