Solo-life after Danity Kane and Dirty Money ain’t so bad for Dawn Richard!
First, her EP “Armor On” hit No. 1 on the iTunes R&B Albums chart. Now Dawn has made a Youtube video to announce she’s signed a deal with Altavoz Distribution to have the physical copies of her debut album Goldenheart distributed globally. The deal solidifies Richard will become a certified household name. “We have just signed with Altavoz Distribution, which will allow us to have the record GoldenHeart in every store-from Best Buy to Target to the mom and pop stores,” Dawn explains. “This is exactly what we needed to expand the brand. It’s a movement.”
The album’s original release date was for October 16th, but the date will be pushed back to accommodate the worldwide demands. “Don’t be sad. It’s gonna be a really great thing for us,” she tells her fans in the video. A new release date for Goldenheart will be revealed on Monday October 15th.
The first single “86” is now available on iTunes.
