Raheem DeVaughn Says Tyrese’s Book Helped Him Get Over Vertigo, Talks TGT Album

During a recent interview with TGT members Tank and Tyrese at the recent Essence music festival 2012, Raheem DeVaughn opened up about some interesting news. The R&B soul crooner admits that Tyrese’s debut book “How to Get Out of Your Own Way,” helped him overcome Vertgo.

Speaking to Tyrese, DeVaughn proclaims, “I red the book, it definitely changed my life, it was given to me by my mother…actually when I was down. I was suffering from Vertigo for awhile, so I was laid up, couldn’t move around, red the book, changed my life.”

In addition, DeVaughn also spoke with the duo about their upcoming TGT album, which is scheduled for release at the top of 2013.

“We about 12 songs, maybe about 16-18 ideas in, so you know for us that’s the very beginning, we just barely scratched the surface of what that entire project is going to smell like and look like,” says Tank.
