Sammie released his debut album ‘From the bottom to the Top’ in 2000 under the guidance of Dallas Austin. He parted ways with Austin after his sophomore record to start his own label that released a few of mixtapes in 2009 and 2010.
Over the last two years he took a hiatus from music remaining low key. Ready for a return, Sammie has recorded a twelve track mixture entitled ‘Insomnia.’ The first single “Lullaby” is produced by Troy Taylor.
For the project, he collaborated with “No Lie” rapper 2Chainz. The mixtape is expected to be released in August.
