Following his exit from Atlantic Records, R&B crooner Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper is ready to revive his solo career. With that said, the three-time Grammy nominee has released the brand new single “I Love Girls” featuring Young Money rapper Tyga. The mid-tempo club banger will appear on Pleasure’s upcoming sophomore album, the follow up to 2009’s ‘The Introduction of Marcus Cooper’ via his company Swagga Entertainment and a new deal with eOne.
“I am excited to show my artistic growth with this new project,” explains Pleasure P. “I’m ready to bring back an element of romance that I feel people still want to hear; music that we can slow dance to and enjoy by candlelight. I’m having fun and blazing new trails with classic style, and I look forward to taking music lovers on this journey with me.”
“We are so proud to have Pleasure P on our R&B roster,” adds eOneMusic President Alan Grunblatt about Pleasure joining his roster. “He is truly a master of his craft and makes amazing records.” The acclaimed singer joins other soulful luminaries on the eOne roster such as Dwele, Vivian Green, SWV, Ashanti, Anthony David, Bilal, Keith Sweat, Eric Roberson, Bobby V and more.
Pleasure P’s last album spawned the hit singles “Boyfriend #2” and “Under.” His forthcoming effort will arrive late Fall/early Winter 2012.
