With soul artists like Leela James, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo gearing up to release new albums in 2012, it seems like soul music is carving it’s way back to the commercial limelight.
Now, soul diva Angie Stone can be added to the growing list after she recently issued a brand new single entitled “Do What You Gotta Do.” The funky eargasmic track plants Stone in her musical landscape, as she begs to inspire listeners.
“Do What You Gotta Do” will appear on Stone’s forthcoming sixth solo studio album, Rich Girl, the follow up to 2010’s ‘Unexpected.’
