They Call Me Tomi… I used to model. A lot of my friends would call me Tommy girl for Tommy Hilfiger so the name just stuck.
Get The Streets in A Frenzy… My street single is about to come out called “Go Off” featuring Gucci Mane. I picked Gucci Mane because the streets love him. I am a fan and I knew he could deliver what the song needed. “Go Off” is a club record and the clubs love him too. You have to give the people what they want.
Style Over Fashion… I’m simple yet classic if that makes sense. I’ll wear a bad jacket and a bad shoe. Right now I’m into the whole bright color thing. Usually I’m mild about colors but now I’m feeling the colors because the weather is getting hot and all the bright colors are coming out. (LOL ) I’m not wearing a sun dress though; I’ll give you a nice legging.
Not Just Writing For Me… They always say not to get attached to a song but I do anyway. It’s easier to let a song go when you can get it to an artist that can do the song justice. It’s always cool to hear someone’s rendition of your song.
Fight Again… I’ve been inspired by my little sister who has Lupus. Every morning she goes to work and she is often sick a lot of the time but she doesn’t let that deter her. She does what she has to do. I look at her and I say I can’t wake up and complain about work because I’m healthy and she is sick.
Moving on from Love... I have been hurt but at the end of the day you just got to keep trucking. If it doesn’t work you’re going to have to keep moving forward. Keep it trucking homie… they call me Iceberg Slim I guess that’s why. LOL
Cheaters Chance... Hell to the nah, cheating men do not get another chance! If I cheat I should not be taken back. If anyone cheats they are saying you’re not enough. If you’re saying the person is not enough then you shouldn’t be with them.
R&B Roots… For the most part I consider myself an R&B artist. I might stem off and do other stuff but I would say my roots are R&B. Everybody knows that R&B today all stems from the Mo-Town sound. I think R&B is in everybody’s’ roots. I feel like a lot of artists are afraid to be put in a specific spot. You can be a R&B artist and branch off. Usher is straight R&B but he’s doing Pop and Dance music. He has the hot single “Climax” which I love so much. I think it caught so quickly because that is what radio is missing. It’s missing that classic, soulful R&B.
Mother’s Qualities… Dependable. Dependable is the biggest quality because the kids have to be able to depend on you as a mother. A lot of people don’t want to be considered role models but at the end of the day that’s what you are. Over all you just have to be strong because there are a lot of hurdles, hills and lows. You have to be prepared for that and you don’t want your kids to see you crack.
Defining Diva… Diva is a strong woman that knows what she wants. She knows what she wants in life and she’s not going to let anyone get in the way of that. A lot of them are considered B*%$&s because they are strong and will not let anyone break them down.
Influencers… I have so many influencers but off hand Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Celine Deon, George Michael and Beyonce are on my list. Beyonce is killing the game right now.
What They Don’t Know… I wish people knew that I was goofy but when you first meet me I look stand offish because I’m trying to read people. I have to read people before I give them the full me because I don’t want to offend anyone. LOL
Center Stage… I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders when I hit the stage. It’s relieving to know you have fans and people that know your songs. It’s a great feeling to know that people like what you have created.

If I Only had 1 More Song to Sing… If I could only sing one last song it would be Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman”. It is Chaka Khan’s song but I love what Whitney Houston did with it.
