After years of speculation, it appears D’Angelo is ready to share his new material with the world. According to The Roots drummer, ?uestlove, “[D’Angelo’s] in the home stretch right now.”
D’Angelo has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the 2000 release of ‘Voodoo,’ which won the singer a Grammy Award for “Best R&B Album” and sold 1.7 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Over the last several years, the “How Does It Feel” singer has appeared in news headlines due to a few legal run ins. Now fans can anticipate a new album to be released on RCA Records very soon.
