Kelly Rowland Believes Beyonce Will Be ‘An Incredible Mother’

R&B superstar Beyonce simply stole the show Sunday night at the Nokia Theater for the 2011 MTV VMAs. Not only was her performance stunning, but the singer also announced that she was expecting her first child with husband, Jay-Z. Needless to say, everyone was happy for the glowing mother-to-be, especially her former Destiny’s Child sisters.

Kelly Rowland spoke with People at the VMAs afterparty and expressed nothing but joy for the Carter family.

“I have known for quite a while, and she’s happy, and Jay is happy, and that’s all that counts,” Rowland said. “I think she’ll be an incredible mother, because she’s always been motherly. I think that she takes after so many traits from her mother. And I just think it’s going to be so natural for her. Its natural for her now!”

Rowland also revealed to People that the Carters have already started talking about baby names, though she didn’t name any specifics.

Michelle Williams, however, took to Twitter to express her happiness for Beyonce’s pregnancy, as she tweeted that she was “overjoyed” when the news was announced. She then continued to confirm for her fans that she’s known of the news for a while now, and has helped keep it a secret.

Former member LeToya Luckett also congratulated Beyonce and Jay-Z via Twitter after MTV broke the news on the social networking site. “WOW!! In tears!! Congrats BEY & JAY!” Luckett exclaimed. “What a beautiful performance Bey! #glowin”

And lastly, Beyonce’s younger sister Solange Knowles tweeted a happy face with a series of exclamation marks following the announcement. She then continued, “One.And.Only. I could not possibly be more proud. Tears in my eyes. No one deserves it more. That doesn’t happen by accident. That doesn’t happen by chance. That doesn’t happen by gimmicks.”

There’s no question that we all feel the same… Congratulations once again to the Carters!
