Aretha Franklin to Be Honored by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Week Long Tribute

The undisputed Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin will be honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a week long tribute. As part of its American Music Masters program, the heralded Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has decided to showcase the achievements of Aretha’s career which has spanned over four decades.

A special concert in which her peers are slated to perform some of her greatest hits will commence on October 31 and end on November 5. Inducted 25 years ago, Aretha expressed her gratitude at being honored saying, “I’m thrilled and delighted to be honored. I’m really looking forward to being there.”
