Former Fugees singer announced happy news on stage during a concert in Detroit, Michigan., she revealed her plan to take a break from music to focus on motherhood again. Pregnancy rumors first surfaced back in April when Hill appeared at the Coachella music festival in California sporting what appeared to be a baby bump.
Today, Hill wrote an open letter to fans stating, “Coming back home after several months of extensive reconnecting with supporters and music lovers…thank you for your continued appreciation. The majority of these dates were planned in advance of me knowing about the continued growth of my family (wink, wink).”
Ms. Hill also apologized to fans for her tardiness to several dates on her tour. “There were some shows that we started late. We apologize and thank you for your patience. That said, I can’t wait to re-engage with you, and give you a musical experience worth coming back for. Let’s do it real soon.”
Hill has five children with her partner Rohan Marley. The 36 year old previously stepped away from her music in 2008 to concentrate on her family, but returned to the spotlight last year.
