Former Pussycat Doll member Nicole Scherzinger has replaced British singer Cheryl Cole as a judge on Simon Cowell’s singing competition “The X Factor.” Scherzinger has moved from performing hosting duties to the judges’ panel, with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid.
Scherzinger became a household name as the winner of the tenth season of “Dancing with the Stars,” beating out Olympic champion Evan Lysacek.
In addition to here new responsibilities as a judge, the former PCD singer is preparing the release of her debut album ‘Killer Love.’ The first record released in the United States from the forthcoming effort is “Right There,” featuring G-Unit founder 50 Cent.
“The X Factor” will return to United States television screens in the Fall.
