Fugees Producer Jerry Wonda Has a Feeling Lauryn Hill, Wycelf & Pras May Unite

The Fugees, a multi-platinum and Grammy award winning group, disbanded in 1997. Now that Lauryn Hill has returned to music, Fugees producer Jerry Wonda tells Singersroom, “Well you know Lauryn loves music. She’s a classic. She’s special and talented. I feel like the Fugees are gonna make a comeback and make some new music.”

The last time the group worked together was September 18, 2004 at a concert in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn for Dave Chappelle’s Block Party film. Upon the groups break-up in the 90s, two of the three members Hill and Wyclef Jean went on to have highly successful solo recording careers. Pras Michel would flirt with commercial success with his MTV ranked song “Ghetto Supastar.”

Lauryn Hill is currently performing on her “Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate” tour. She continues to add more dates to her “Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate” tour. She recently added 12 more performance dates to the final leg of the tour.
