The infamous Lauryn Hill continues to add more dates to her “Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate” tour.
After taken a hiatus from the music industry, the recovering songstress has added 12 more performance dates to her coming-back-out trek in addition to the recent festivals she appeared at on the West Coast.
Ms. Hill reveals in a statement, “I’ve never shied away from being musically adventurous, nor am I known for being a lightweight when it comes to lyrical content or musical exploration.”
She also reveals that the play dates provides a more intimate setting and gives her the opportunity to perform for the fans who haven’t heard her for a while. She continues to assert that the media has covered inaccuracies about her choices and career, many of she found quite amusing.
“Getting back out there to perform is a lot like resuming a strenuous sport after having been away from it for a while, but eventually the muscle-memory kicks in and each day brings progressive strength,” says Hill.
She’ll also be singing tribute to the late Bob Marley and the Wailers during her shows in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 20 as well as Ft. Collins, Colo. on April 24.
