SRC recording artist Akon announced back in 2009 that his fourth studio album ‘Stadium’ would be released in 2010 but the set has been push back several times. The holdup may be attributed to the singles “Angels” and “Give It to ‘Em” featuring Rick Ross, which failed to make noise at radio or on the charts.
Now, Akon has finally locked in a release date for the new project which is set to come out on September 13th 2011. “I’m bringing the whole energy of people gathering worldwide in one location,” Akon states about âStadium.’
On Stadium, Akon was influenced by the past World Cup which brought people from all continents to one arena. The effort will feature production from French producer David Guetta.
