Lauryn Hill Pens Letter to Atlanta Fans, ‘I Had To Come Back’

Hip Hop/Soul superstar Lauryn Hill is making it her duty to get back in good graces with her Atlanta, GA fans after showing up three hours late to a gig earlier this year. In addition to showing up to the January event late, Hill reportedly stated that she was burnt out over “playing the same music night after night,” which made some fans upset, who interned walk out.

“I had to come back. I’M HERE and excited for the opportunity to do what should have been done the last time,” Hill writes enthusiastically about redeeming herself to fans. “Starting off on the wrong foot can always be easily rectified by putting another foot down, especially in a ‘monster shoe’ (Nicki Minaj quotable). Come Again!”

Currently on the “Moving Target’ Tour, the Grammy winner will make her stop in Atlanta tonight (Mar. 30) before heading out to Hawaii.

On a side note, we know Nicki Minaj is probably overly excited that Ms. Hill used her line as a quote.
