Inspiration Roots of Augusta, GA & Philly, PA…“Augusta has a lot of history, its 5 miles from James Brown’s hometown and home of Gospel Groove music. In Philly I was introduced to Hip Hop, House, and Club music.”

Musical Influences… “Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Ohio Players, Cameo, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Marley Marl, as I got older I begin to get into The Isley Brothers and Sade.”

King Brit Education… “He exposed me to the international DJ scene of house and techno music. I have known him since HS.”

Erykah Badu Definition of Artistry… “She’s the most confident, talented and creative person I know. She represents every aspect of the word Artist.”

Kenny Gamble Mentorship… “Humanitarian, mentor, big brother, and father figure. He taught me how to write music, express my emotions in a way people can connect and understand that exact feeling.”

DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Brotherly Love… “Also a big brother, like family to me, I’ve known him since I was 11 years old. I used to watch him DJ. It’s because of him I learned about DJing, he took me under his wing and taught me everything on I know about DJing.”

Sitcoms of the 80/90s or Reality Shows of Today… “I prefer the older sitcoms, they were more educational than entertaining, now it’s the other way around. I felt like there was an important message and lesson people could pick up on back then.”

Master of the Mix vs. Reality Shows… “This show will expose everyone to the DJ culture, the art and skill it takes and the network of professionals involved. It is a group of great people creating something great.”

Shaping Music in the Future… “I would like to provide a sense of unity, create discussions in people’s homes, make people feel good, and touch as many people as possible with my work.”
