Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger will rev-up her attempt at her first solo album, after multiple failures in 2007. With dismal radio play for singles like âGroove Tonight,â âSteam,â and âWhatever You Likeâ featuring T.I., Scherzinger was forced to scrap the release, then titled âHer Name Is Nicole.â Now with a new energy and new outlook, Scherzinger hopes this new effort will be a winner. The disc is led by the intimate RedOne-produced âPoison,â which Scherzinger released the video for late last week. The album reportedly includes collaborations with artist like Ne-Yo and Jay Sean thus far. Previously, Scherzinger was said to be confirmed as an X Factor judge for when the Simon Cowell-produced show launches in the U.S., but according to Scherzinger nothing is set in stone yet. “I don’t know about X Factor,” Scherzinger told THR. “I’m working on my album right now, my video comes out in Europe tomorrow, I’m excited about touring and stuff. If Simon [Cowell] asked me, I’d have to sit down and really think about it, because it would be a really big commitment.” In related news, Scherzinger was reportedly casted for the new “Men in Black 3” movie, for what she described as “a small villain role” where “I say a couple of lines and then I die.”
