Jason Derulo Makes History Atop Pop Songs Chart

Fresh off his debut album and chart-topping single “Whatcha Say,” singer/songwriter Jason Derulo has made history on the pop charts. According to Billboard, Derulo’s current hit single “In My Head” has claimed yet another week atop the pop songs chart — making Derulo the first male artist to have his first two entries reach no.1 . A song he co-wrote, “In My Head,” has sold 92,000 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan. Derulo joins Flo Rida, Jay Sean, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Ricky Martin, male artists who have also topped the pop songs chart with their first entries.
