Rihanna, Chris Brown Share MTV Japan Music Award Nominations

Rihanna and Chris Brown join Jay-Z as nominees for the MTV Japan Music Awards 2010 taking place next month! Each nominated for at least one award, the duo was announced as contenders for awards including Best Female Video (Rihanna, “Russian Roulette”) and Best R&B Video over the weekend. Chris Brown, up for Best R&B Video, for his late 2009 clip “Crawl” will face off with Alicia Keys (“Doesn’t Mean Anything”), Jasmine (“Sad To Say”), Juju with Jay’Ed (“Ashita ga Kuru Nara”), and Miliyah Kato (“Aitai”). Kelly Rowland is also up for an award, joining David Guetta for Best Dance Video (“When Love Takes Over”). The Black Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, Sean Paul and Lady Gaga are also nominated. The 2010 edition of the MTV Video Music Awards Japan will take place May 30th.
