Lady Gaga, Jay Z Sweep BRIT Awards 2010

Lady Gaga and Jay Z swept the anticipated BRIT Awards, held in London Tuesday. Leading the pack with three awards, Lady Gaga rocked a major wig while paying tribute to late fashion icon Alexander McQueen. “Thank you to Lee McQueen,” Gaga said, using the celebrity fashion icon’s real name, prior to a performance of “Poker Face,” “Telephone” and “Dance in the Dark” (see show highlights HERE). In addition to being named International Breakthrough Act at the awards, Lady Gaga took home an award for International Female. Also performing a set with Alicia Keys, Jay Z took home one award for International Male Solo Artist. ‘X Factor’ alums JLS came in just behind Lady Gaga, picking up two awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Single. Alexandra Burke, Mel B, Alicia Keys, Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis were also spotted in attendance. The BRITs 2010 took place at Earls Court in London Tuesday, February 16.
