Lady Gaga Drops Brit Award Plans, Annoying Organizers

Lady Gaga may have a hit with the song “Bad Romance” but, sources close to tonight’s Brit Awards say the chart-topper has angered production staff with last minute demands. “Gaga’s final choreography was finished ages ago. The whole performance had been rehearsed and was ready to go. But when she turned up on Monday, she announced she is too upset about Alexander MCQueen to do that performance,” a source tells The Sun. “She says she’s changing everything. She wants to wear an-all blackoutfit and do sombre versions of her music as a tribute to him.” Originally Gaga was to perform a set that included “Telephone” and a grand entrance in a tricked out Rolls Royce. According to sources, that entire entrance and other planned elements have been pulled. “Now her show will be much more scaled down and Cheryl (Cole) is taking her place in the running order,” a source tells The Mirror. Lady Gaga’s last minute changes, inclusive of new stage elements, is said to cost Brit organizers another £100,000.
