Christina Aguilera has bid farewell to the long touted title of her fourth studio album “Light & Darkness,” instead focusing on the future. For fans that future is just around the corner as Aguilera plans to release the album, now titled “Bionic” in March ! Appearing in Marie Claire’s February Issue, Aguilera revealed the title and what is slated to be her first single since “Keeps Gettin’ Better”. Citing her son Max as inspiration, the Grammy winner says he has been “motivating me to want to play and have fun.” While that fun is set to include a mix of R&B, Pop and Electronic elements, Aguilera says fans will be in for a surprise. Tweaking her vocal stylings, Aguilera admits this album will be the first to feature a softer, yet, stronger side. Admitting to Marie Claire that softening up is something that “maybe I’ve been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go to a place of ‘less singing,’ Aguilera goes on to say “I’m more vulnerable and more strong at the same time.” The first song you will here however, is an upbeat single titled “Glam”. According to Aguilera, “Glam” is “a poppy, hip hop influenced throwback to Madonna’s ‘Vogue’, accompanied by the album’s title track, which is said to be like an “addictive electronic title track”. “Bionic” is slated for release this March.
