SR Gospel: Sunday Best Nigeria, Plus News On Lawrence, Caesar

BET’s hit reality/inspirational competition ‘Sunday Best’ has been green lit for another season. According to BET sources, audition locations for the new season will soon take place, including an inaugural visit to Nigeria. For the first time inspiring talent may audition in Lagos, Nigeria for a chance to compete for the ‘Sunday Best’ title, joining past contestants Crystal Aikin, Shari Addison, Jessica Reedy and Y’Anna Crawley. Set to take place December 6 at Eko Hotels and Suites at Kuramo Waters, Victoria Island, auditions are slated to begin at 10am and will close at noon, reports ‘The Gospel According to Torrence’ (BET). The award-winner and host of ‘How Sweet The Sound’ joins a strong list of participating performers including BeBe and CeCe Winans, Fantasia, Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing, Donnie McClurkin, Sunday Best’s Y’Anna Crawley, Fred Hammond, James Fortune & FIYA, Dr. Bobby Jones and the Nashville Super Choir, The Rance Allen Group, and P.S.A.L.M. Choir from the City Of Refuge. Shirley Caesar Releases “A City Called Heaven” The wait is over for Shirley Caesar’s latest effort “A City Called Heaven”. In stores Tuesday, November 24, the album features Caesar’s collaborative effort with J. Moss on “Nobody” as well as nine other inspiring songs.
