Ne-Yo is ready to get ‘closer’ to Barbara Streisand. The “Miss Independent” singer has reportedly signed on to pay tribute to the star at the 31st Annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala. Joining Beyonce Knowles, who will perform “The Way We Were” and Queen Latifah, Ne-Yo is expected to perform one of Streisand’s many hits. According to E!, Streisand, Morgan Freeman, choreographer Twyla Tharp and Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey of the Who will be honored at the 31st annual gala in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 7.
