Georgia Music Hall of Fame Set To Honor Keith Sweat and Ludacris

Keith Sweat and Ludacris will join the late Dotti Rambo and Widespread Panic this fall when they are inducted into Georgia’s Music Hall of Fame. Keith Sweat, who released one of this year’s top independent albums titled “Just Me” will be inducted into the state’s hall of fame located in Macon, Georgia, this after over 30 years of both performing and producing some of the best in R&B and New Jack Swing. Ludacris, who is slated to appear in Max Payne alongside Mark Wahlberg this fall, will be honored during the festivities, joining fellow Atlanta music mogul Jermaine Dupri who was honored in 2006. The 30th annual ceremony and awards show will be held September 20th at the Georgia World Congress Center. WSB-TV news anchor Monica Pearson and onetime, longtime Atlanta radio personality Leslie Fram will return as co-hosts. Usher, Dallas Austin, Curtis Mayfield and TLC are among those who have been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in recent years.
