Rihanna Sets Sights On Film Career, Stars in New Film ‘Mama Black Widow’

After record breaking success with her latest album “Good Girl Gone Bad,” R&B/Pop singer Rihanna has plans to take on the film industry this year. Rihanna is set to make her big screen debut in Mama Black Widow — the story of a black family’s migration from the South in the 1930s. The “Take a Bow” singer joins Kerry Washington, Anthony Anderson, Mos Def and Macy Gray in the film, currently in pre-production. After conquering the music game, including this week’s near-record-breaking jump on Billboard’s Hot 100 (“Take A Bow” jumped 53-1), Rihanna says acting is on her mind adding “ I don’t know how good I’ll be at it, but it’s something that I want to try.”
