R&B superstar and ex-girlfriend to rapper Young Jeezy, Keyshia Cole released her second studio album ‘Just Like You’ on September 25, 2007. Cole, who is frequently compared to hip hop – soul singer Mary J. Blige, released her second single in August 2007, entitled “Shoulda Let You Go,” featuring Amina. The first single, “Let It Go,” featuring Missy Elliot and Lil’ Kim, has become a huge success for Cole, becoming her first #1 on Billboard’s R&B chart, and her biggest hit on the Hot 100, peaking at #7. The album is written entirely by Keyshia Cole and includes production by Rodney Jerkins, Bryan Micheal Cox, Scott Storch, and more. Guest features include Lil Kim, Missy Elliot, Anthony Hamilton, T.I., Diddy, Young Dro, and Too Short. Keyshia Cole’s last album “The Way It Is’ debuted at #6 on the U.S. charts with first week sales of 89,000. The album eventually received a platinum certification.
