Sevyn Streeter has her buzz going in the streets and online. Currently on her “Girl Disrupted Tour,” the Atlantic Records R&B songstress releases the new song, “Fallen,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace.
Like her previous offerings, “Fallen” is relationship-driven, seductive, and raw. “If you keep on putting it down, you gon’ make me love you / If you keep on putting it down, you gon’ make me stay,” she sings.
Sevyn’s “Girl Disrupted Tour” is slated to wrap on Feb. 12 in Los Angeles. As far as her upcoming debut album, a releases date is unknown following her claims that it would arrive on Jan 27.
“Honestly, it’s been a journey creating this album. At first, I didn’t know what I wanted to name this body of work that was very instrumental in where I am in my life right now,” she previously stated. “Through writing these songs, it really kind of forced me to fix things in myself; to acknowledge the way that I was dealing with older relationships, older friendships; the way that I was viewing myself. ‘Girl Disrupted’ kind of helped me put that mirror to myself and disrupt the girl within myself. I realized that I was doing things in a very naive way.”
“Fallen” by Sevyn Streeter featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace is a sultry and seductive R&B track that exudes smoothness and sensuality. Released in 2017 as part of Sevyn’s debut studio album *Girl Disrupted*, the song captures the essence of falling deeply into the throes of passion and desire, with a modern twist on classic R&B vibes.
The production of “Fallen” is lush and atmospheric, characterized by a slow, hypnotic beat, shimmering synths, and warm basslines that set a late-night, intimate mood. The track’s rhythm is deliberately unhurried, allowing the sensuality of the music to take center stage.
