Dawn Richard (D∆WN) takes a break from her forthcoming album Redemption to collab with producer Kingdom of the label Fade to Mind for the electronic, sensual groove “Honest.”
On the track (which is reminiscent of Dawn’s “R&B-fusion” sound when she first went solo), she sings of being in denial that she’s still in love with an ex. “I’m over you, I’m not over you…/ I’d rather be honest, I’m not over you,” she sings.
“Honest” is reported to grace a future Fade to Mind project.
